Love dogs and want to make a difference? Join the volunteer team at Lilac City Pup Project! Our rescue runs on the dedication of amazing volunteers who donate their time, talents, and big hearts to help puppies get the best start in life.
Whether you have one hour a week or ten, there’s a place for you here. We’re looking for people with all kinds of skills and interests to help us continue rescuing, caring for, and placing puppies into loving homes.
Volunteer opportunities may include, but not limited to:
Adoptions Team: help coordinate adoption applications and match pups with families
Marketing & Social Media: create posts, share adoptable dogs, and help spread the word
Medical: help the fosters navigate medical questions, track vaccine schedules and schedule vet appointments
Human Resources Support: assist with hiring and onboarding volunteers
Finance: help track donations, expenses, and budgets
Events: assist with adoption events, community outreach, and education
Fundraising : help brainstorm and organize ways to support our mission
Every volunteer plays an important role in helping us rescue more pups, provide medical care, and prepare them for successful lives with their new families.

Ellie was impounded by police and placed in the local shelter with her 7 siblings. Once in foster care, she received necessary medical care and was determined to be blind. She’s currently available for adoption.
Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce were part of a breeding operation gone wrong. They entered the local shelter with mom and siblings and were transferred to foster care with LCPP. They were adopted November & December 2025.
